I feel that at time before 1 year , there was the exact same question in my mind. This question was literally not covered in any of the books of hydraulics. But,then I understand by myself (self study) , a concept which was logically right. And now sir has taught another concept which is also undoubtedly right. Sir, I am telling, you should write a book. Bcause such type of explanation is very rare to find.

Sir aapne yahan pe do baat kahi hai about why pressure energy decreases.. 1. Because of (rho) x (g) x (h) 2. Fluid is less at the narrow part But (rho) x (g) x (h) is applicable for the static fluid and in your case the fluid is flowing. And you said at the narrow part of the pipe fluid is less that's why pressure is less. So i want you to consider the pipe of uniform c/s area and consider two case... 1. Discrage is more hence velocity is more 2. Comparatively less discharge so consequently velocity will be less. So your consideration about the fluid is less that's why pressure is less can be nullified. So what I understand is it is simply Bernoulli's principle, as the energy is constant at each point if we ignore the losses. And at the narrow part velocity is more we can understand it with continuity equation and since velocity is more so the kinetic energy is more but according to the bernoulli's principle the energy is constant so that's why the pressure energy decreases. Correct me if i am wrong. thanks.

Thank you Sir!
