What is pressure energy in Bernoulli's equation?
The Bernoulli's principle states that the sum of PRESSURE AND the POTENTIAL energy and the kinetic energy of a fluid PER UNIT VOLUME flowing through a tube is constant. A greater energy associated with pressure in the fluid corresponds to lower KINETIC AND POTENTIAL energy

So if you have a static fluid in an enclosed container, the energy of the system is only due to the pressure; if the fluid is moving along a flow, then the energy of the system is the kinetic energy as well as the pressure

I feel that at time before 1 year , there was the exact same question in my mind. This question was literally not covered in any of the books of hydraulics. But,then I understand by myself (self study) , a concept which was logically right. And now sir has taught another concept which is also undoubtedly right. Sir, I am telling, you should write a book. Bcause such type of explanation is very rare to find.

क्योंकि यह fluid है पानी है, solid नहीं. और ऐसे ही soil engineering में जहाँ solid particles + water दोनो है वहा की flow थोड़ी अलग है nature - soild + fluid का mix kind. Fluid का pressure nature, solid के force से अलग है. यह hydrostatic force है जो pressure केहलाता है stress नहीं. Thank you Sir!

Sir rho g h is formula of pressure applicable only for static fluid sir but it is not applicable for bernoulli's eq because it's is flowing fluid

Sir in the video when you decrease the area of the pipe the pressure energy decreases however when you decreased the depth of the pipe i.e when you decreased the area from below the pressure decreased... This should not be the case because the pressure energy depends on the height of water above the head(pressure gauge) and it should not be decreased when the area of the pipe gets decreased from below... Please answer
