I was thinking who in the world is going to blast at 100psi using aluminum oxide or sand or whatever media with their bare hands. You wouldn't have skin left lol!

I'll chime in. I had about two hours of use on this model of cabinet barehanded, using silicon carbide. For glass, you work fairly quickly at 40 psi and may want to go as low as 20 psi for some effects. As far as not wanting silicon carbide on you in the first place, well that's another story. I didn't have any irritation of my hands even when I slipped and hit my fingers with the blast media for a couple of seconds. Anything longer and it probably would have stripped the skin off like any other substrate.
