he in fact had more than 7 pens, the plot thickens.

I can only imagine how much work it was to make this comparison with all these different pens. Thank you for your incredible work

Probably what is most important is the shape of the curve for the pressure handedness of the artist. If you are a light handed artist then the earlier part of the curve will be most important for example. Consistent initial activation force is important for drawing fine lines. I suspect few artists will draw at the heaviest end of the curve.

Thanks for the hard work. I have a pro pen 2 like that faulty one you have, after removing the button and cleaning the interior gently, now its working fine and I can go ful pressure, at least for the last month its been good. If someone is in the same situation you could try it. Use a q-tip to clean the interior.

Regarding the outliers, my PW550 pen is a bit wonky too. It gets to 40% logical pressure very easily, and the pressure tends to fluctuate a lot when you try to maintain it. In contrast, my PW550S pen has a more stable pressure response. It's a bit of a shame because I prefer the thick pen, but with some tuning of the pressure curve I can get it to work very well.

Excellent encore une fois le test de la pression minimale serait tout aussi parlante à ton avis?

Thank you for your hard work! This is very helpful. Personally I have used the wacom grip pen for 7-8ish years before finally switching to Huion's PW517 pen late last year. My initial impression after the change was while it is much more easier to bottom out the pressure on the PW517 pen I find that both pens are pretty good and have similar feel. Both handles pressure changes pretty well. I'm not too sure if it's the pressure range or the pretty similar ergonomics of the pen but while the change was technically a downgrade I don't feel like it's a downgrade. I'm still looking out for when my local Huion distributor decides to stock up PW550 pens tho, after looking at the graphs I'm intrigued.

Very informative and useful video. Are all of these compatible with Samsung Galaxy tablets?
@thesevenpens2 ай бұрын
Most are not. Besides the S Pen, the Wacom One GEN1 pen (CP-913) and Wacom One GEN2 pen (CP-913) are the only ones that are compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S series tablets. (Galaxy Tab A series tablets are not compatible with any of these pens).

It a owesome video. But there are some problem I have to this video. 1. in 09:11 . is the title wrong? The picture looks like the comparation between wacom LP-1100K vs wacom CP-923, but the title is LP-1100K vs LP-190K? 2. in 10:09 The title wrote >= 700gf but why there are LP1100K and LP-190K? I don't any sample in video of these two pen that the maxium pressure meet the 700gf? However, this is a really cool video. Thanks for sharing these data.

My data: PW 517 = 346g PW 550s = 490g Xencelabs Both = 530g

Awesome! Thank you for sharing your numbers. For the Xencelabs - were these the V1 pens or the V2 pens?
@caiosouza19913 ай бұрын
@@thesevenpens they are the V1 pen, I have both, the black (small) and the White tablet, they perform the same.
