I was taught to clean top down, if you follow this you will not have to reclean the steps, in other words step and then lower riser, then repeat to the bottom.

Why didn’t you lift the plant and get under it?

Because it was an 8ft wall of vine and the home owner didn't want it cut. Lifting it up and pressure washing at the same time would have been very difficult and why do that if you can't see what's under the vine? Wasn't worth it. The customer was extreamly happy with the results. Thank you for your question.
