Great comment, thanks! In the United States, "manikin" is preferred to "mannequin" by a 8 to 1 margin. Both are considered correct spelling in the US. In Europe the margin is the other way, with mannequin being preferred to manikin. Moreover, the spelling can also sometimes differ by the specific usage of the product and its customer base. Store-front clothing models are more likely to be spelled mannequin, and medical anatomical models are more likely to be spelled manikin. So, in some areas of the world you may see the same exact product listed with alternate spellings. This is a challenge we've also found with international products such as Prestan's CPR mask "adaptors" which US customers prefer to see spelled "adapters".
