Presto Heatdish overheating alarm buzzer repair fix

Thought I’d show some support and say what a great how-to DIY video. I have two of these heat dishes and never noticed the temperature sensor until you pointed it out. Mine is getting a little grungy in the dish but your video has encouraged me to try to clean it myself. In addition to it looking bad it doesn’t heat as well as you mentioned. I noticed mine isn’t as hot as it could be. I might also take a polishing tool and apply car polish to it to see if it shines the dish up even more for more efficiency.

Probably 15-20 years old, but they still make them pretty much the same.

Don’t bother with taking the cage off just put wipes on a fly swatter
