Amazing interview ☀️

Omg I needed this because yesterday some guy of the African American race asked me if I was following him when I worked there and I was trying to get this piece of clothing that I’ve been looking to buy and mind you I’m holding my baby in arms and all i did was smile at him I was going to leave it at that but in the parking lot as I was trying to put my daughter in her stroller he starts off okay with I’m sorry I don’t mean to be rude but I’m not trying to be bothered but I know you like black guys and I said you know I have a baby all I did was smile at you like I’m not worried about you and than he says I KNOW YOUR BABY IS BLACK and I was just so caught off guard that I just lost it and after cussing him out and yelling an hour later I started feel guilty about how I reacted but now after listening to this I feel reassured that my reaction was me expressing how I felt in that moment and I truly believe if I just pushed it down t wouldn’t have made me feel any better

Ohh...I had the same experience as a kid...tested "gifted"...bussed to another school once a week with kids with Down's syndrome. It probably had more of an effect than I've ever considered. Lotsa shame and loneliness and feeling like there is something wrong with me. Something to take a look at, for sure. 😕
