"Everything is neutral" It's true. When my daughter died I was... devastated. But, I (eventually) chose to use that tragedy as a catapult to writing a book to my son. We're all temporary, and we could all be taken at any moment. So, I put as much wisdom into a book as I could so, if I should die before I can pass on that wisdom to my son, at the very least he'll have a paper copy. I also like (not in this video) Tom's point on allowing yourself to be miserable for a set period of time. I tried the posture, the comedies, the joyous activity and everything else I could think of... but it still took a really, really long time to embrace joy again.

Ono Northey I started Bikram Yoga five days ago, a. D I had a huge emotional release on the mat yesterday when I was able to complete one of the harder poses for the first time. Today I feel a bit deflated, BUT my left side stretches as it hasn't in years!!! I just had not realized how very much guilt and pain I was holding onto. I say all of this because I hope you are able to find emotional release. It makes a world of difference ❤️💙💜💚💛

It's a rainy day in September 2017. I am holding a speech to my university telling them about my Greatest INSECURITY, which is that I was introverted and didn't dare to hang out with friends. I have never to this day slept in a friend's house. Thanks to telling everybody the thing I fear them to know, I gain this super confidence making me Make Out with the most Good-Looking Girl at the party (getting her, to force me, to give her, my Facebook. And No. She didn't see me perform the speech). Everything WITHOUT ANY ALCOHOL. Now I have nothing to fear and everything to gain. Thanks Preston!

Another awesome interview. Some wonderful messages of Love and Neutrality were the biggest takeaways for me. I can certainly identify with the "story" telling that accompanies 'events' the cancer example is beautiful. My family has overcome some challenges by first understanding that there's "narrative" in play and it's our own choice what we allow that narrative to be. So powerful. Re-framing the story is the first step to redemption (from ANYTHING)

Inner drive makes people go all in and inevitably be successful. I've thought for so long that the "dark side" was the only way to get there. Good to see a different and more uplifting mindset that not only equally leads to inner drive and its consequential success, but also to unconditional joyful living. Now that's a mindset worth building.
