I've had drone flyaway and drops before and I wouldn't wish that feeling on my worst enemy. Insane work editing it to be entertaining. I'd have a breakdown if a stranger walked up at that point, but this was hilarious. Sorry about your drone.

So just to be clear on what happened here; the drone kept going up because it thought the plane was a tree or something and wanted to get to away from it - but it couldn't because the "tree" kept following it. After a while, it got too high for the remote control to disconnect the plane so it just kept going and going till the plane eventually fell off, at which point it was too high to get back to the ground in time before the battery ran out - so it just plummeted?!?!? Clearly Preston has a unique talent. I don't quite know what that talent is but I'm subscribing!

Awesome video, mate. As a fellow drone flyerer, I feel your pain. I flew mine directly into the ground after doing a powerloop. The drone failsafed and completely shut down. It was travelling at about 110mph. Drone was totalled, along with my two week old Hero 7. #RIPDRONEY
