The pre tied hooks from Preston, are the only hooks I use they are fantastic. The GPMB are my favourite all round do all hook👍

4inch GPM would be a winner also KKMB in lighter lines like 16s to .13 with a band but I’m probably just being picky 😂

They are great hook lengths no point making your own with the quality you get from preston. Wish I had a shed like that haha!!! Thanks for the info Des.👍👍

I am a fan of this system generally. If I have one complaint it is the pellet band variety which I find is a bit bulky compared to the Guru brand.

Great Vid Des. I’m just switching over to the pre tied mac store. I have always tried to tie my own………its time consuming and I sometimes make a mess with the fine diameter lines and smaller hooks. 😂I like the versatility of being able to switch out the natural hooks I use and the barbless etc. I need to commit to buying the mag store boxes and simplify the range of hooks I currently use. 🎣

All I use now, stopped faffing about tieing my own and second doubting myself with how good I tie them. Love the KKM and XSH (these are my new faves for down the margins with big lumps of bait) hooks. I will be trying the GPM with corn/maggot/castors and the MCM this season. Why can't we buy the unloaded boxes in black????

It would help if they sold these on a spool so when the stick is empty it can be refilled with out the expense of buying a new holder every time and having to dispose of the empty one

morning des i love the mcm hooks could i tie them myself and use then on the pole with a band and tie them like a spade end hook with out a band on the pole i think you need to order some more tackle from preston
