Hi! I'm new with drums and I'm trying to learn this song. Is the snare doing syncopation in the verse and chorus? Because I think it's not plopping in the pulse (off beat) Right? Thanks!

It's nothing fancy, I can assure you! It's a 4/4 time signature, and yes, the little fill in the beginning places the snare where you would normally place the kick.
