The newsman states for a fact that the pupils mocked their black counterparts on the group. I wonder if he's even seen the posts, or is remotely aware that his statements may be racist and defamatory. How about checking these allegations for substance first before holding disciplinary hearings and suspending principals and students, and pitching up at assemblies making divisive statements and asking the children if the accused ones should be suspended? Disgraceful. I sincerely hope that the principal and the affected students sue the crap out of the students who made the allegations, the relevant officials in the department and the news outlets for defamation. These poor kids weren't even given proper details of the charges against them, and the notices of disciplinary hearing referred to non existent clauses in the codes. In my view the wrong people are in the crosshairs here. I don't think the students or principal should let this lie. It's about time that the real racist are exposed and made to apologise and pay a few bucks to deter this sort of nonsense.

Back people are unfortunately struggling to adapt to modern schools, its standards & academic cultures in SA. They are inadvertently ruining the school system 4 all. Perhaps 2 x different schooling systems isnt a bad idea? Keeps everyone happy.
