I would love to collect novelty branded pitches but they would need to be in the smaller "training pitch" size. The office corkboard I use for Subbuteo isn't big enough for a full size pitch. I would also welcome the better quality material used for the full size pitch. I already have 3 of them that I can't use. An office corkboard and a few drawing pins is about as far as my DIY skills go and I can't be the only one who isn't comfortable messing around with MDF and glue guns. Surely, it makes more sense to include the smaller pitch in an entry level box set as it makes it easier for the newbie to get started. Corkboards that are big enough for a full size pitch go for about £90 which would be a prohibitive price point for most people.

There is smaller pitch in the Champion League set, problem is it’s a crap material. There are some 3rd people guys that offer smaller pitches. SABases do great custom pitches

I love Pretty Green and Subbuteo,I love the set and want one,but would probably never play with it as just haven't got room. Could be a nice collector's piece to keep as I think it will sell out. T shirts and tracking are cool as well.

All blue bases and cheap plastic with the bendy players 😱. Such a waste. I'm sure Pretty Green couldn't influence the materials for the set but it has been executed so poorly. The logo stuck on like that holding up the players is dreadful. Any potential new/returning players who buy this are going to be instantly put off as is the case with all new Subbuteo sets. Shame!

Since firt stumbling into your videos and I have built a table, git my 6 and 8 year old hooked (next generation), rounded up a good number of people to meet once a month for games and when I'm off crutches in Feb or March (been on since august 2022) I'm serouosly going to try and find a local club or get one going. All of this is because of your enthusiasm and encouragement to not care what people say or think about 'flicking plastic men about' and going for it.. so thank you! Any contacts or site you know of where I might get some help with that? Point being I'm by no means a hating on the set. Keep up all the great work spreading the word. 👍

@@henrysmith411 that’s very kind. Really hope the kids are enjoying it. The World Cup is in the England in 2024 and we need youngsters so maybe they could get playing regularly and represent England. The English Subbuteo association has lists of all clubs up and down the country and most are so welcoming, loads will welcome the kids too. ESA membership is free for under 18’s and they can get loads of discounts at certain subbuteo sites. I look after the ESA’s socials.
