This is really amazing to see!! This movie was actually the first time Toei Animation had outsourced to a different company to help animate (Studio DEEN) due to the pandemic which is why this movie was pushed back, but seeing the drafts to the final product i think u can tell which one was done by Toei & which one was done by studio deen especially during the transform parts, but tbh it still came out beautifully 💓 I really hope Netflix releases a BluRay version of the movie! Not the first, Crystal had been outsourced to a couple other studios for Key and Inbetween Animation, one that comes to mind is Studio Teddy, they helped with Act 3, and Studio Wanpak who helped with lot of episodes. Studio DEEN was also confirmed to collab for Eternal BEFORE the Pandemic, so they weren't collabing because of that. I'm not sure why they went public about this as if it's a big dea, when they haven't for the other studios who helped. My guess is cus the director, Chiaki Kon, has worked on a few projects by DEEN? I'll even say Certian Studios doesn't necesarilly determine animation quality, some of the animators in the good shots can be from Toei some Deen and vice versa witht the bad. Both studios are also pretty infamous for having wonky art.

I was just informing op this is not the first time Toei outsourced to other studios when it comes to Crystal / Eternal nor is it the first time Toei outsourced at all (DBSuper, 90s Sailor Moon and DBZ were outsourced for some episodes). its weird that Toei was formulafing hype over it, when this is common practice for them and other studios. Again I said *both* Studio Deen and Toei are notorious for their animation quality, everyone knows that. It doesnt matter who is the worst of the two cus both are bad in terms of quality. there *are* talented people under both studios, as well as the other outsourced studios. But that talent can't shine cus Both Studios and the industry as a whole won't let them cus budget and insane time constraints anyway search up Moon Prism Power by sailorcrisis I helped in making that

@@johnsentanjaya5751 Because it's the end. I have been a Sailor Moon fan since elementary school, growing up on the 90's version. I used to think that was all there was and it was how the story was originally told. It wasn't until I found out, later on in life, that there was a manga with an original story. A more mature story...a story about hope, faith, love, and friendship. but also a story of insecurity, confidence, determination, growing up, fear, and acceptance. I just reread the manga's Eternal Edition in celebration of the Eternal films and it really impacted me differently than the previous times I've read it. When I got to 'Stars', I was hit with waves of anxiety because it was coming to a close, seeing the journey that Usagi has endured, and seeing the striking imagery that's packed into that arc. So, that's why I'm incredibly excited and incredibly sad to see 'Stars' in motion... It's the end.

@@puritychalice yes me too, sailor moon has become one of my favorite TV cartoon since I was on elementary. 90's series really give memories but once crystal released I was shocked with how different the stories foretold. I never imagined the true story of sailor moon actually really deep and darker, the enemies were no joke like 90's. in 90's series's foe really dumb, seeking of something and targeting people blindly in the end it was become weekly monster episodes and took almost entire arc but in true story the enemies know what to do and how they need to conquer. I surprised to see amazoness quarted actually dormant sailor senshi in last eternal movie. I can't wait for last season which I heard shadow Galactica in manga version is the worst enemy that sailor moon ever face fill with corrupted sailor senshi lot more than old series (only 4 sailor animamates and dumb lol). it's sad that this will be the last but I'm happy that I know the original story of sailor moon through crystal seasons :)

@@johnsentanjaya5751I literally cried when the Amazoness Quartet became the Sailor Quartet. I knew they were because of the manga, but again, seeing it in motion and on screen was unbelievable. All of their Eternal forms looked so good and I loved seeing their princess forms. I can't believe that they left that out of the 90's version. Yes, the next and last season will be Sailor Moon's greatest battle and I can't wait to see the scenery come to life. She does go up against Shadow Galactica, and it's one hell of a ride. I'm not going to spoil anything for you, but things IMMEDIATELY go off the rails in the first act of 'Stars.' Have you read the (Eternal Edition) manga? If not, I HIGHLY encourage you to read it. Watching Crystal first and then rereading it, made it flow more smoothly and easier for me to understand what was happening. Also, it made me have more appreciation for the 90's. You can really see where a lot of the inspiration and direction in the 90's version came from. If it releases on Netflix, I'm going to listen to it while reading along with the manga. I'm so glad that you're enjoying Crystal. This also makes me excited to reread Codename: Sailor V Eternal Edition when it releases in a few weeks!

Uh… a lot of the color and effects and lighting are definitely done on a computer. Lol. In fact they definitely time out the animation in a digital program. No way are they shooting this stuff with cameras anymore… that would be such a waste of time. The roughs are certainly pencil drawings but computers are 100% involved in the process.

When will there be a USA Blu-Ray/DVD release? I want to put it beside the rest of the entire show-90's and Crystal where it belongs. The movies were great though. Movie 1 did feel like marathoning 5-6 episodes of content without openings/closings/etc. Movie 2 though flowed far better and really played out amazingly. The final fight was just as good if not better than the one in crystal season 3 in my opinion.

The quote of Serenity thing that happen during all five arcs of the manga and Crystal and Eternal accept the things I cannot change: when Usagi and Mamoru arrive at the restore Moon Kingdom after defeating Metalia Luna tells her that she's now the new queen of the resurrected Moon Kingdom, but Usagi denies, saying that she would rather stay with her loved ones back on Earth, where she now belonged and she realize that she cant's bring back the way they were of what happen 1,000 of years. Have the courage to change the things I can: Sailor Moon and her friends realize that it's too late to bring back does how already blessed their loyalty to your evil lord and master like Beryl, Demande, Dr. Tomoe, and Sailor Galaxia but they can at least stop there lord and master from destroying the world. And have the wisdom to know the difference: This is were Sailor Moon have make a choose of what you said destroy the Cauldron which cause the stars seed for being reborn everything will change that will make world completely different or not destroy the Cauldron but Chaos comes back start a war all over again history might repeat it self but Sailor Moon chooses neither she choose her own path and sacrifices herself once again but then Guardian Cosmos the small but powerful guardian of the Cosmos Crystal, resided within the Galaxy Cauldron saw Usagi in the Cauldron, she was surprised that Usagi and her friends could retain their physical forms within the Cauldron. She asked Usagi if she had come to the Cauldron to throw her life into it and start a new star's history, or if she wanted to live as she was. Given the choice, Usagi said that she wanted to live her life as she was, no matter how difficult it might be, to build a future together. Guardian Cosmos granted their wish, and as they were being pulled away, Usagi asked about Chaos. Guardian Cosmos told them that Guardian Chaos and the Chaos Seed had been dissolved into the Cauldron, but could be born again and that act that could save everything even if alters thing the risk seen worth it Sailor Moon now has the wisdom to know the difference accepting what she can't change and changing what she can and that's is the most important meaning quote of the Serenity prayer of the manga, crystal and eternal of Sailor Moon.

absolutely losing it for Double Moon, I figured Id see the genga to better understand how it may have went wrong, only to see how the genga TRACED from the 90s version (the genga anatomy lines up with the 90s than Eternal), even the hair seems to flow in the right direction IN THE GENGA but not the final Movie version, but the final version looks and feels like ass. They literally had a reference and still the henshin turned out that way. As if the animator just... didn't understand what made Double Moon visually pleasing Not to mention the first cut with the brooches seems to be lifted and printed directly from KZbin. Just.. losing my mind about that.

@@etherealsky7078 I'm aware it's production has issues, it just baffles me Toei (and some fans really) only think the problem is the character design and it needs to change closer to the 90s styls every new season. Thinking that'll save them. What I'd rather have is some original footage, even if its not up to snuff, then some copying of the 90s anime only for it to be not as great as the 90s version despite being *traced* and screenshots. Might as well have made something new if it was gonna be bad anyway. Like Season 1/2 Crystal, had more potential and ambition back in S1/2 imo, when it tried, and struggled, to be its own thing.

@@taylorserasera S3 and Eternal had the same director, Chiaki Kon. I also think S3 is overrated and both it and Eternal was played incredibly safe imo, dare I say cus I think Kon has a bias for the 90s. The style was ugly and colors washed out too. Takahashi's style for Suite Precure is much better than it, hell his style in Season 1 and 2 was better, it at least tried to do what Crystal was meant to be, an adaptation the manga without too much crutch from the 90s. S3 doesn't even look like Shinsoban style. I think S3 was just a blank slate so Kon can turn it into what Eternal looks, 90s 2.0. Choice of Sound Effects and their audio levels were awful, the sound effects were literally low quality Hanabarberra SFX (with no edits made toward most), over use of 90s sfx which for some sounds didn't really fit the visuals. The SFX was either too quiet, too loud, or very abrubt and... They just didn't fit the visuals a lot of times. Compared to the 90s which had a LOT of different sounds and sound mixing going on, and said sounds catered to each senshi. The senshi had unique motiffs for their sounds that just wasn't there in S3 or Eternal, while S3 and Eternal only I felt chose like a few random 90s sfx and slapped them on. This wasn't an issue in Season 1 and 2, if they did use 90s sfx it def felt like they fit the scene. Seriosily literally compare the THUNDEROUS BOOM in Jupiters henshin in S1 and then tiny quiet zippy zaps of S3. The animations choreography while (somewhat) consistent compared to S1/2, it def felt uninspired and not that great visually (there are some exceptions but the Higurashi Faces def isn't one of them, but even S1 and 2 had exceptions). The BGs were awful too, a lot of character looked as if they were floating and the BG just felt... there..? like the characters felt like stickers on the BG. Soemtimes the characters were OFF CENTED in the shot, or too low on screen (Mercury, Uranus and Neptune's speech has this exact issue but its all over S3) this was def improved in Eternal though, and the BG in Eternal are also much prettier. And what I mean by safe is despite the issues plaguing Crystal/Eternak, Sakai really did feel like he was trying to do something with Crystal. Which is why I call S1 and 2 "Too Ambitious." Maybe if the issues weren't there we probs wouldn't be here. I just want Crystal to look and feel it's best without them pandering to the 90s and being crazy safe. I miss that risk S1 and 2 had.

Yeah, I think the actresses in this dub are talented but the pitch is a decision I don't think works as well in English. The Cloverway dub was a bit of a mixed bag (Linda Ballantyne was entertaining but didn't fit Usagi at ALL), but some of the voices like Stephanie Beard as Chibiusa/Rini felt a lot more natural. I know Naoko personally approved of Stephanie Sheh, I just wish she performed in an octave a little closer to her own voice for this role.

Netflix is a streaming service. They don't release DVDs and Blu-ray for purchase. This is a decision made by Toei Animation and Viz Media. I'm hoping there will be an announcement sometime before the end of 2021 or the beginning of the new year of 2022.

All Sailor Moon movies from 90s are filler stories, which don't connect with the manga, so the answer is no (maybe Princess Kaguya will be adapted but I doubt it)
