The nature of Luna and Artemis is different in the live-action than in the animé and manga version. In the live-action, Luna and Artemis use the two stuffed cats as host bodies for their souls while in the animé and manga, they have actual physical cat forms.

Princess Serenity is so beautiful here. I love her beautiful white dress and her hair. I also love how they still kept the crescent moon on her forehead. I feel like if Princess Serenity was real she would've looked like this. I just love PGSM it's such a great and unique adaptation of Sailor Moon. It was definitely a great way to continue Sailor Moon's legacy. It will definitely hold a special place in my heart. 💖🌙

I honestly love this concept of Serenity looking like Usagi and Sailor Moon looking different, especially when you play with the concept of Venus being the "decoy princess" and the fact that even Luna couldnt remember clearly, it adds more to the reason of why everyone didn't put two and two together that the Guardian of the Moon looked exactly like the princess. (I mean she does when she "fuses" into the Moon Princess Guardian form, but I just like this concept)

Phil Lux I loved the show especially because it was so different from the Manga and the original anime. Queen Metallia is somehow connected to the silver crystal and becomes more powerful even when Usagi is the one using it. The princess is almost a separate character from Usagi and she almost only cares about getting Endymion’s love. She would literally destroy the worlds if Mamoru is not in it (reminds me of Sailor Neptune saying similar stuff regarding Uranus). She destroyed the two kingdoms when Mamoru died in the silver millennium and goes on to destroy the world in the end. Only Mamoru and Usagi bring back the world by sacrificing themselves.

If I remember correctly, in this version, he is sort of forced to go to the Dark Kingdom to prevent the remaining shitenou from being killed by Beryl instead of being kidnapped and barinwashed as in the original anime. Most of the story, even in this particular episode, are original. If you notice Mercury is on the Dark Kingdom side, something that didn't happened in the original.

ok I know we all lost it at the plushie cats but let's talk about her hair color and dress and the acting usagi/sailor moon/princess serenity always had blonde hair and in to buns but you change it to brown hair and a ponytail.. 2 the acting was off timing and not good acting time 3 the plushie cats they look like they just got high of crack and the movements for them are just horrible they are bent over like they broke there spines 3 the dress serenity wears is a wedding dress and it doesn't have straps like that and it's not big and floofly 4 some of the cosplay is off tuxedo mask dose not have a jewel on his mask and when you look at venus,mars,Jupiter there little buttons on the bows don't have patterns on them 5 I don't remember mercury becoming evil 6. 0:05 why does tuxedo mask sound like he's trying to clear his throat or he sounded like a possum- that's all I'm done with this world

The budget may have been fairly small, but this adaptation clearly shows that Sailor Moon will never work in live-action form without some fair amount of changes to the story and esthetics. If the franchise were to have a western live-action remake, you can bet there will be mass changes to the esthetics, but the story will remain very close to the original, due to how western of a lore it is already. Did I like this show? I kinds of did, but I couldn't get use those colorful big wigs that they sport in Sailor form, I would've just preferred them to keep their original hair instead, because obviously everyone's gonna be sporting colorful hair like their Manga/Anime counterparts the whole time if they didn't make such changes to the story. Unfortunately that just doesn't very well in live-action.
