One Christmas I was at an air bnb with my in laws looking for something for us to all watch on tv and I got fortunes sweet and salty special and my husbands dad says “oh yeah let’s watch this, I love this guy” and it cracked me up so hard that now every time my husband and I see fortune anywhere on anything we HAVE to say, oh yeah I love this guy! 🤣

I LOVE when Tig hollers out: FORTUNE! Or, FORTUNE MARIE!. Interesting how interpretations are all so different. Fortune seems so old-fashioned sweet to me in so many ways. Not as an admonishment, but in a funny way, when she brings up something so out of that purer mindset, it does deserve a hysterical call out. Love you guys.

Pretty sure the first instance of Tig's "FORTUNE!!!" was because she brought up the word cooter. I could totally be wrong but I feel like that was it! MY answer to the 3rd question about a comedians joke that has made its way i to family or friends... back in the late 90s Nicky Swardsons 1st comedy special. My brother and friends and I for the past 25 years when putting away groceries or at each other's homes will lift up the gallon of milk and say "oh you mean THIS gallon on milk? Oh Nick you are the strongest boy alive! You should fight crime!" LOL and to all that get the reference...high fives and hugs and laughs 😂

A big one that made into my family’s everyday life when I was a kid was Eddie Murphy’s ice cream song “I got some ice cream…you didn’t get none…cos you are on the welfare…you can’t afford it…”!! My dad would get himself some ice cream & sing it to us kids! Obviously we would eventually get some ice cream, after he’d had his fun!😂
