The number that Ali gives Mona in this scene is the same number that one of the A team members was seen texting in the season 3 finale. If you go back to that episode, a person with black gloves in seen outside of Jenna's window and they send a text to that number that says, "32 Rte. 6. Be there tonight. -A." We then see Jenna immediately receive a text. So we are suppose to assume it's her being sent that message. But, at 9 PM that night was when Spencer met Toby at the diner so it was Spencer

For those asking Ali gave Mona a peice of paper with (her?) phone number on it! The number was used again, on the episode Spencer joined the "A" Team. She was shown texting (Toby?) shown in 3x23-24

This scene is Not a lie cause that post card the liars found in the bag had a tear in it where Ali wrote the number for Mona plus Mona never actually said she made this up Spencer said it but Mona never confirmed it afterwards. This scene so happened

Actually, Sheri18ify is right. Courtney stole Alison's necklace and pretended to be her, so Ali was sent to the mental facility while Courtney pretended to be her all year. Ali came back to visit her family and killed Courtney for ruining her life, and later in the series her parents introduce her as Courtney, Ali's twin sister, because her parents at that point thought Ian to be the killer and had no idea Ali was alive and Courtney not. The mental hospital made Ali crazy and so she killed Court

I don't think it's Toby's actual number, because in 3x24 Toby asks Spencer, "How did you find me?" and she says, "Mona left me alone in her lair." If it was his normal number, Spencer would have known it.So the number that Toby uses for all of the A team stuff is the same number in this flashback....I dont understand how it all fits though

i dont think this scene is a lie. i have a theory that i never saw before. i think alison is actually a twin or something and is watching alison, and pretended to be alison so mona never knew. she gave mona her number because thats when the whole A team idea started

I think it'll b different in the show, I think that Courtney took Ali's place, and Ali came back and tortured her by being Courtney's "A" then Courtney buried Ali alive so she wouldn't have to deal with the torture, but Ali lived and killed Courtney dumped her in the hole, and now Ali is the Pretty Little Liar's "A" just my theory
