I worked at a Veterinary Hospital and got Vessi's, these shoes literally saved me so many times. They are waterproof as you said which came in handy from water and other messes. If they got messes on them I could literally just take a hose to them and rinse them off. I was complimented and asked about them all the time! Plus they have different versions so you can get no laces or laces, but no matter what type you get, you can literally just slide them on. You don't even have to undo the laces to get them on. I had two pairs I switched between, to try out different styles. I highly recommend them

this is my favorite show but I am so disgusted by the inappropriate relationships/moments: ezra & aria, spencer & wren, spencer kissing ian, alison kissing ian, alison kissing ezra, spencer kissing melissa's flatmate when she was in england, jenna & garrett, hannah kissing wren, hannah kissing officer holbrook, emily and that one chick who was married, alison and lorenzo, aria kissing jason all the girls I just listed are underage between 15 and 18 and the men have AT LEAST five years on them, but most have more like lorenzo was 30 when he was kissing up on alison and showing up to a high school dance for her?? disgusting.

I used to watch this show when it came out and I used to love Aria and Ezra’s (the teacher) relationship. Did not see an issue in it and a lot of people also just went with it. this show was the first show I watched as a teenager on the internet. I‘ve watched it a couple of times after that. But seeing the pilot episode always brings back this intense nostalgia. I remember how magical pretty little liars was to me back when I first watched it. The mystery, the girls, the drama…Looking at it now I can see how it is pretty cliché and maybe not the best filmmaking in some sense. But it was so deep, interesting and scary to me at 14-15. I am now 23 years old and I feel a little silly watching you guys mock these scenes that had me mesmerized back then. I kinda got annoyed at them making fun of it because this show holds such a special place in my heart. But I have to admit seeing the scenes with Aria and Ezra, shocked me because i can see how naive I was to the appropriateness of it all back then. I thought it was really romantic, like the perfect „forbidden desire“ trope. I kinda knew it was „wrong“ but the show definitely influenced me and because of it I maybe romanticise on a subconscious level inappropriate situations like ezras and arias relationship. Ugh I just had so many feelings streaming back into my brain .. I felt these specific feelings like when I first watched it.. Like the scene where Spencer comes in the Barn and says „she‘s gone, I think I heard her scream“ send shivers down my spine then, and even just now when I watched it I had to turn on my flash light because its still scary to me even though i know how everything unfolds. Alison was the most interesting character I have ever seen, she was so mysterious, so confident and complex. Like I wanted to study her forever.. I saw myself in Emily because of her brown skin. I was the only brown girl in my white friend group in middle school. It‘s not like it was a bad thing or anything. But seeing her I could identify with her on that basis in a sweet way. I could go on and on how magical this show was to me and still is.. Beside my personal bias I think it still is a really good show! Especially the first season. I mean towards the end it kinda becomes bad and unrealistic.. Not to mention the ending… but the plot of the first 1 to 3 season is so good! definitiv worth watching I am so much older right now.. like I just realized how young I was back than.. how i really was just a teenager. I loved these kinds of shows, because I always wanted to have a normal teenage experience like in these american shows.. but back then I was so lonely … I feel so sad for my younger self, because I would lock myself in my room and live vicariously through these shows.. But it also makes me happy because I found so much comfort and joy in streaming tv shows like pretty little liars. I‘m sorry for writing this novel, I usually don’t comment on KZbin. And this is maybe also not the best place to reminisce but I felt like sharing all of my thoughts. Maybe because it is one of those nights where I wish I was 15 again and could relive all of those teenage feelings for the first time again :)

The whole Aria/ Fitz thing is even worse bc in the books, Ezra goes to prison like the felon he is. The whole point of the relationship was supposed to be a warning against teacher student relationships

The problem was that the writers were too incompetent to write things as creepy between them and the fans got angry at the thought of them breaking up so they had to keep them together. Sick

But their framing of the relationship in the first few episodes was so irresponsible and it definitely left a bad impression on the viewers
