I think it's because of the combined style and the work behind it, someone's animation style shows personality, everyone's it a little different, and most people understand what goes behind the animation, drawing out each frame and redrawing every time it looks even slightly off.

i mean if you look at older maps especially (but really almost any map) you’ll see a fair amount of wonky cats. you don’t have to be incredible to draw for a map, just able to animate and with a style the map host is willing to have in there :]

I have a few maps suggestion, I would make them but I dont know much about art and animation. 1. Hips Don’t Lie (Shakira) - Leafpool snd Crowfeather 2. Holding out for a hero (From Footloose) - Bluestar and Firestar map focused on Firestar These are just a suggestion but I would adore these maps if you made them!
