I usually tune down the guitar so it best suits my voice for acoustic version. Nirvana, Pearl Jam and other bands tuned half step down when they would do the acoustic versions of their songs as well. For this song I played it the same as the recording. Soundgarden use lots of unusual tunings in some of their songs.
