The wind blowing adds so much to this song-- It feels like you're actually traveling while this is playing the background!

I’ve loved this song for a long time, but this is the best version I’ve heard. God bless from Texas!

By far my favorite Appalachian folk songs, which is probably why it’s popped up on my feed! Lovely rendition. I’m a singer and this one I can really open up on. Of course, I know different lyrics. Your last verse is usually earlier for me, and I end with her “lily white arms” instead of her sheets. You did such a beautiful, beautiful job. Thank you for sharing.

Context: I grew up in the Tennessee Appalachian mountains, fell in love with folk music very young, and just completed my degree in music and historic preservation greatly because of folk music. I’m glad to have found your channel!

Merry Christmas!!!! What a lovely Scottish scene. With that old church an sunset. An the green hills with the almost ancient road carved into the land by time and the ancestors . Love from North Carolina aka Dixie!

can you do a closeup video of the banjo and finger placement on the song Lone Prairie. I'm trying to learn your style to play in the church. It seems rather simple. Please do this if you have time
