With the post driver out of commission we are left with an auger attachment to finish the fence project. It's much more labor intensive and leaves us exhausted. To make matters worse, we start questioning how our porch step lighting project is turning out.

I guess I need to get that new Hoodie! Great family, living the old school. I had a client I made an engagement ring for. Seven years and two other rings later, I asked for his new address to add to my database on the point of sale. He bought the house my Dad built in 1949. Such a small world, really You know when you meet people how very special they can be in your life. I feel this in your connection to your personal life choices, too. We used the same size fence posts, so either your posts were dried out more or Erin is incredibly strong because she was tossing them in the holes like they were toothpicks!!

Fence post hint: After you trim those posts, paint the tops with the black roofing paint with fibers. This will seal the tops from rain and prevent premature rot.

Heres a tip for Leon and the rest of theherd...take a 4×4, leave it about 4 feet above ground, then mount a stiff street broom on all 4 sides. Leon will love rubbing on it. And when the broom heads wear out, simply replace them.
