I think the saw issue is caused by the fact that as you cut deeper into the beam it's moving with the force of the saw. Stabilize the beam so it resists the pressure of the saw.

There’s a lot of language in society that DOES demean the role of women. This persons comment is not part of that even had they not changed it. It’s just a positive acknowledgement. You stand behind someone to raise them up. Both men and women can be on both sides of that, in a good way.

The thing that shines through on your channel is that your family are truly a team. You really are giving your kids the best education possible, never quit because things go slightly pear shaped, find a way around the problems, and carry on. Having one of the boys hold the 6x6 was the key to keeping the large circular saw from binding. The weight of the saw started pushing the board which caused it to turn and therefore bind. You did a great job! And you filmed, edited, home-schooled, took care ot Josh and the fam...

Those things weigh a ton and I got bruises on my forearms just from gripping while carrying those monsters! ERIN, I just subscribed today (have been watching for about two to 3 weeks weeks, both of you putting in fence Posts etc) watching you do that Job in the last two days, You Go Girl, YOU made be PROUD to be a Woman, driving the machine & back filling yourself!!! It was great to see everyone step-up with the "I can do it" attitude. Even the junior supervisor nailed it! lol The guard on the big saw is spring loaded. As you push through the cut, the spring gets tighter making it tougher to get to the end. Having someone sit on the 6x6 allowed you to push harder. I knew you would get it. Some walking is a good way to get air movement in his lungs to prevent fluid build-up, along with talking and singing, but only if he can carry a note! lol Take care

I have watched every video you have done. I am from the UK and am in Cambodia, where I am making my off grid house and fruit forest. I had an accident here a year ago, I broke my Femur, I was in bed for 4 months. Your video's and amazing energy gave me reassurance, knowledge and happiness helped me so much get through my non active times. Erin, thinking back over the years of watching, you rocked it. I know Josh says, you go girl. I’m impressed with your new found confidence and the kids see it too. Wear your safety goggles with that saw. You're doing such an amazing job .. definitely an inspiration to many. Hope Josh recovers quickly.. it was very precious to see your children working by your side.
