I think the saw issue is caused by the fact that as you cut deeper into the beam it's moving with the force of the saw. Stabilize the beam so it resists the pressure of the saw.

Having one of the boys hold the 6x6 was the key to keeping the large circular saw from binding. The weight of the saw started pushing the board which caused it to turn and therefore bind. You did a great job! And you filmed, edited, home-schooled, took care ot Josh and the fam...

It was great to see everyone step-up with the "I can do it" attitude. Even the junior supervisor nailed it! lol The guard on the big saw is spring loaded. As you push through the cut, the spring gets tighter making it tougher to get to the end. Having someone sit on the 6x6 allowed you to push harder. I knew you would get it. Some walking is a good way to get air movement in his lungs to prevent fluid build-up, along with talking and singing, but only if he can carry a note! lol Take care

I have watched every video you have done. I am from the UK and am in Cambodia, where I am making my off grid house and fruit forest. I had an accident here a year ago, I broke my Femur, I was in bed for 4 months.
