That juggler 2 was perfect to hide the real demon. With 3 of the possible picks all being in a line, it looked like a Lord of Typhon game with the juggler hitting a demon and 2 minions. If Mark hadn't died to Yaggababble 4 they would have executed him next to finish that possibility off.

You know what sucks about the KZbin app? It displays comments like this right at the top and in your face, spoiling the whole dam video. Barely even started watching…

This was a fun one, glad evil pulled it out in the end despite that hick up in voting. I was worried that MacKay wasn't going to nom Jerome. If you had wanted to sell the "witch has been in since the beginning" world, you could have sold a world like that in the savant info with a true (but unlikely) statement to pair with it. "The fool was chosen by the witch on night 1 or there is a devil's advocate in play" or something similar (I went with devil's advocate because they didn't affect the game at all, so you could possibly sell a window with MacKay's ping and witch world to start).

It was super risky on the final day. Not only did they need MacKay to nominate Jerome, they also needed at least one good player to vote on it. MacKay was already suspicious of the right evil team and knew that trio only had two votes.

Killing the juggler night two would have saved the numbers debate. But it also paints suspicion on the players they chose.

Killing the juggler night two would have been REALLY rough on the evil team. The Widow chose the juggler knowing the juggler gets exactly 1 day of information and it will be messed up. Killing the juggler on night 2 means you make the Widow's poisoning useless. If there's one thing I've learned about story telling watching people like Ben and Evil Steve, it's that you respect the decisions of evil even if you don't think they're good. Killing a juggler that would get a 4 is a great evil move, but evil *chose* something different, and the ST should respect that. Props to Steve for doing that.

Isn’t the Ojo with either the Spy or Widow removes the Ojo’s ability? The whole point is that they can kill the high priority target even when not knowing who they are. Putting them on the same team and even having them on the same script kind of causes the Ojo ability to just be, pick a player. They die.

At least online, wheres its easy to memorize and communicate all the info, yeah. In person, where its harder to do, might be a different story!

@@TheGrimoireGG That's true. I have very little experience with in person games.

There are two types of targets a demon wants to kill. Powerful townsfolk, and socially trusted good players. Most demons can reliably kill someone the town trusts, but has to guess who is which character when trying to get rid of powerful townsfolk. The Ojo does the opposite. They can reliably kill powerful townsfolk, but the trade off for that is that when it comes to killing trusted players, the Ojo has to try and guess that player's character. Spy and Widow eliminate that guessing game, sure, but they do that for all demon types. That's what makes them useful minions.
@non-existantgamernop51722 күн бұрын
@@maizen1335 Spy and Widow are definitely good minions. The problem I so had was that the Ojo wasn’t a good demon with them. Like you said, Spy and Widow give the same benefit to all demons when in play but unlike the rest of the demons, Ojo loses their strength.

@@non-existantgamernop5172 no it doesnt - it still makes them stronger... they no longer have to worry about missing and they can pretend to fall for roleswaps (for example a poisoned ravenkeeper that pretends to be something powerful could be chosen - but it requires knowing thats what is going on) to provide a real example for illumination of the power of this - ive seen a game, where a ojo with a scarlet woman was fooled by an outsider claiming dreamer... and then decided "i better deal with this dreamer" ...which caused a miss - the next day they were executed without telling their scarlet woman what he targeted... and the scarlet woman went "damn i better deal with this dreamer before they cause more damage" and AGAIN missed badly with a spy or widow they would have known that dreamer was not in play
