I'm so glad Alisha is in her diagnosed ADHD era because as a fellow ADHD girlie it's so lovely to see her thriving, despite having to deal with the horrible maggot situation. I had to go through my own horrible maggot situation once when I lived with roommates who left our kitchen in ick, and it was genuinely traumatic, but I also enjoy telling the story. Also love that you've found meds that work for you! I'm on that journey currently myself.

Alisha, your mom is absolutely right. Those fly traps were meant to draw flys away from livestock or other areas. Most people's yards (esp in la) aren't big enough to get the trap far enough away. The powder you mix with water in them is actually a fly attractant.

I love the concept of Alicia having her old car and Remi having her dad drive to the airport - A cool concept would be to have other people drive you doing fave songs/interview or you both do your own podcast karaoke similar to how other artists have done - however seeing you two in Alicia’s old car for example while creating new memories would be epic!

There actually are such things as sewer flies, we experienced that this summer. We came home one day and there were HUNDREDS of flies in our house in every window. We had plumbing issues during all this and we were going insane. The plumbers came out and were like oh yeah, those are sewer flies. Told us to put powdered bleach around every sewage tube/opening under the house. It was TERRIBLE.

Ok I recently had a maggot issue too and I can attest to how horrible it is! And THEY ARE fast little guys!! For me, it was outside, but they were trying to get in so it was a frantic race. I threw bleach and hot water and insecticide and they would not die!! You feel like you're a filthy human! I was sobbing the whole time... it was during the hottest heat wave and they were in our trashcan. I really dont see how I could have prevented it! My husband regularly cleans our bins and we throw our garbage out in bags. So I feel ya Alisha 😭😭😭😭😭

During 2020, Louisiana DMV or whatever system holds all of the knowledge of your driving record for the cops to pull was hacked. It was not advertised, but the cops in the town I worked in were friends with us and would come hang out. Basically you could have had 5 warrants and they wouldn’t have known when they pulled you over. People got away with so much lol.
