I love the colors! I'm afraid I would not use it as a dishcloth, just admire it♥Thanks for sharing, though.

Me too Susie! I have a whole stack of matching wash cloths tied up in a pretty bow that I just look at instead of use!

That's really a bful Stitch, thank you for providing it. It's also perfect also for blankets with a thicker yarn. What I do but, is first I do a sc and then the sc with 2 chains and sc. Gives a nice and neat edging 😃

(sc 2 sc) Everything is n the video :). I also have the country charm blanket it is the navy and cream one - it is a great stitch for that!

This is the best beginner video every. Thank you for showing SO clearly where the stitches go when starting a new row, and turning. Great job!

Thank you so much! Feedback on other videos has really helped me to know what beginners need. If there is anything else you think i could improve upon i really appreciate that feedback too! This is my favourite cloth to make right now :). Happy almost weekend!

Wow!!!! This is exactly the pattern I was looking for to make as gifts to go with homemade body scrub, and shower steamers for Christmas. This is beautiful, and soooo easy to do. At least I'll be prepared for next year. 😂 Edit....also new subscriber right here! ❤

I love these. ... they're so pretty. I'm a Vintage kind of woman. I used one yesterday though and it's still wet. Doesn't seem to want to dry. I used Peaches & Creme 4 ply 100% cotton. Any suggestions? I haven't laundered them yet.
@prettydarnadorable Жыл бұрын
So sorry for the long response time it's true the cotton really does absorb the water and stays wet. I hang mine over my top so that the air will flow through. I think that's really all you can do. I do find if I told them on my countertop they do take a lot longer to dry. Hopefully this helps and thank you so much for being here.

When you do the stripe pattern, do you carry the yarn or cut and join with each color? This is my favorite dishcloth pattern, by the way! 😊 🧶
@prettydarnadorable10 ай бұрын
Just drop the yarn - I purposely did the striping every two rows so you didn't need to cut :). If you do every row you will need to cut and rejoin - hope this helps!

I would like to try and make a baby blanket using this stitch would you know how many chains i would need? You know like even or odd number
@prettydarnadorable5 ай бұрын
I'm not sure of the stitch count but you need to keep it even.

Do you have or know of similar patterns to this? I LOVE making dishcloths with patterns that don't look like a "pattern" (e.g. a straight line of double crochet, you can clearly see a pattern)

I have more here - check out the Brighton dishcloth - i also have a new one coming in the next few weeks :)

Is cedar ridge the name of the stitch pattern? If not, please inform. Thank you!
@prettydarnadorable11 ай бұрын
No it is the name of the pattern - I have been using this stitch for so long - i have no idea of the name. I think some have referred to it as the primrose?
@sagaciouslysage945411 ай бұрын
Thanks! Familiar with the primrose stitch. Love the intensity in texture. Maybe it’s the hook size.

Ok tutorial. Nice pattern. Would be even better if you weren’t sniffing and snorting through the whole thing.
@prettydarnadorable5 ай бұрын
Can't argue that one!
@janmackinven57365 ай бұрын
There was no need to criticise about sniffing and snorting. Some people always have to find fault. She may have had a cold, which did not detract from a lovely tutorial.

Please elevate your gratitude for someone who has taken time to show you how to do this fun and easy pattern. Please consider that others may have asthma, a chronic medical issue, or that they simply wanted to share knowledge ... again, for free. Criticism of this nature reflects badly on the giver, especially when it's unjustified. Spread joy and peace where you can.
