I had heard that the polling for republicans doesn't translate the number of votes, but the landslide and the toadying to mister X makes my depression/anxiety/complex PTSD/ autism symptoms worse. I am a woman as well & I am feeling such relief this week! Relief that my son will not be drafted into wars that the US funds on both sides, relief that our borders will be secured our children/ daughters/ mothers will feel safer, relief that the child trafficking of US & foreign children will be addressed, relief that the fentanyl coming across our borders will be addressed so our citizens will not die, relief that fluoride will be taken out of our water supply, relief that our unsafe food supply will finally be addressed, relief that our farmers will be supported, relief that we will be drilling oil in our own country & not rely on oil from terrorist countries, so many more positives. Why exactly are you all upset? If you’re in NY you can get an abortion anywhere & that will never change. I bet if women were drafted to go to Israel or Ukraine you’d see an instant increase in pregnancy rates 🤦‍♀️

@@sherrymeurer the reason you were disappointed and never sad is because there was a change in political party. None of us feel worried or stressed about the peaceful transfer of power from one party to another. The reason many feel worried and sad now is because the smart Republicans who have worked with Trump say he is unfit to be president. He led a coup on the United States government and threatened the life of the Vice President and was convicted of it and is now a felon who isn’t qualified to even vote. He continues to threaten the lives of people who disagree with him (like Liz Cheney). Not to mention his sexual assaults (that he has admitted to), the racist things he says(that we’ve all heard), and his pure incompetence (he admits he doesn’t read). If there were any other decent Republican stepping into office, people would not feel scared or sad. Just disappointed. It isn’t about different political opinions, it is about different morals.
