You might enjoy more of a colonial color for the bottom of the wall, maybe a smoky blue, or a beautiful sage will really accent and bring out the color of your beautiful wallpaper.

Red is awful. No matter what room, it stresss me out. I can almost feel my blood pressure rise when I go into that room I'm not sure what it is with the red but it's god awful. The wallpaper and paint color on the bottom is beautiful and calming 😍

The tapestry and the red at the bottom paired really well with each other. I think the room just needed less red, but not getting rid of it entirely. But that's just my opinion. I like the ideas you have planned with the bench that will be cool in that room.

Red can be nice, in measured doses. I painted my front (kitchen) door red. Its a distinctive touch for an older white farmhouse ... in a neighborhood of older white houses ... even though its set far back from the road. Gotta love that tapestry wallpaper. Its reserved palette delivers a huge impact. Nice job as usual, Shelby!❤
