She literally has to hold back TEARS in the middle of the performance because she was really feeling the song. Also, "Destiny" on immortal songs 2. Eunji is also well known for her emotional performances in Korea, just as well as Taeyeon is. It seems you didn't do any research on Eunji and just assumed her musicality as a singer from this video. Maybe you should be the one sitting down because it's obvious you're just a butthurt fan that doesn't like to see other singers being praised while your "fave" isn't. Honestly, Taeyeon has a more well known voice and is more popular, so obviously people will like her more, but vocal wise, Eunji takes the cake. I love Taeyeon's voice and am a huge fan, but Eunji gets her notes out a lot more easily and accurately than Taeyeon. I honestly don't remember a single time when Eunji's had a wrong note or went off pitch, and with the really little training she had, it's really impressive. Both of their voice colors are amazing though, and they definitely share the spot for #1.

Mailana Priyo Prihandoko Lmao am I not allowed to be a fan of both Taeyeon and Apink? Just because I don't have a Taeyeon fan account doesn't mean I'm not a huge fan. I liked Soshi way before I liked Apink and I still listen and love Taeyeon to this day (in fact, I think I listen to Taeyeon more often on a dail basis than Apink surprise surprise). I'm not like a professional musician or anything, so I'm simply just speaking as the middle schooler I am with the experience I have in elementary and middle school chorus and lessons. Taeyeon is more stable with some notes, but once it gets around the higher note range, Taeyeon has more difficulty getting the notes out accurately and sounds a tad bit strained. Eunji gets them out more easily, therefore less strained, so I find that sounds better. She's also around the same level as Taeyeon for the lower notes. I'm not saying that you have to agree with me. Just stating what I hear with my ears.

Both Eunji and Taeyeon have stable voice in singing. However, Eunji has wider range of pitch, no matter from low to high range. So, when Taeyeon sings high notes, she seems to try hard and she often bends her body to hold the notes. Eunji can sing every high notes easily with smile which you can feel her effortless to reach high notes.

tbh, Taeyeon loses her support rather easily above D5, but Eunji can still handle those notes without much effort. Taeyeon achieves resonance and has a much fuller sound than Eunji up to D5, but once it gets higher than that she begins to strain. I'm a sone and Taeyeon is my bias, but I gotta say that Taeyeon has a rather narrow vocal range for a soprano. She does really well inside her range, but once she goes out of it, she's no match for Eunji, or even some other hoobae girl group vocalists like Gfriend Yuju (who is less stable in general but still has a more supported voice above D5).

I agree, Eunji is more skilled when it comes to the mixed register, hers is more developed compared to Taeyeon. I think it has to do with the muscles or something physiological. When Taeyeon goes out of her supported range, the strain is very obvious whereas for Eunji it isn't and people even acknowledge it when she smiles while doing it even though there's some strain for some notes above D5. The edge Taeyeon has is her head voice, which Eunji hasn't shown yet. Gfriend's Yuju has a very nice mix but it's inconsistent. I've heard she even did a resonant f5 but only happened once. So.. I would not consider her really above Taeyeon unless she becomes more consistent. I honestly think that Taeyeon's resonance in her C5s, C#5s (and some resonant D5s) are very mesmerizing (especially the Lost in Love C5 one

Yeah Taeyeon's C5s in Lost in Love are arguably some of the best in the industry, and she has really amazing C5s, C#5s and D5s(from late 2015 onwards) that's why she's a highly competent singer inside her own range. Singers like Eunji, Luna, Hyolyn, Wendy, etc. who are close to (if not higher than) her level don't consistently produce as high quality resonant notes as Taeyeon does between A4~D5. She would've been a great singer if it wasn't for her range limitations. Her narrow vocal range is indeed one of her biggest constraints to excellence.

I like taeyeon and she is my bias in snsd but in this comparison, I don’t think she stands against eunji. Eunji is far superior in terms of vocal range, stability, power, technique and even emotion. I don’t know why people tell that eunji doesn’t have emotions when she sing tho, try watch her in sugarman. Taeyeon can easily defeat eunji in terms of popularity and that is a fact yet a sad truth. Anyhow, I still love both queens and I think this comparison is a bit unfair. You should compare artist that has the same range or has the closest range because eunji has the widest range in kpop

For me,it's Eunji...She makes it looks so easy with a smile...it's like she's singing without much effort...But honestly,both of their voices are emotional and one of the best in Kpop Industry...My Ultimate Bias is Eunji and my Bias in SNSD is Taeyeon that why I love them both💕💖But honestly,Eunji's voice is underrated while Taeyeon's voice is popular among others💖

Actually two can hit the high note but I think eunji's voice is more powerful and more relax! But because taeyoen has more popularity so that they will think that taeyoen voice is better. It is just my opinion, if you don't like it just don't watch it!

eunji ftw :)) eunji's voice is more stable and powerful and she can sing very high notes easily while taeyeon's voice still crack sometimes and she also faces difficulties when singing very high notes. eunji also sings with emotions and her voice can touch people :) but both are great in singing tho!!

Taeyeon can’t hold onto F5 at all. Notice how she always cuts it off by breaking it into lower notes with the R&B method. Eunji can hold it that note for a long time. Eunji is better at lower notes too, better strategy. EUNJI NEVER STRAINS. They are honestly incomparable because Jung Eunji is far superior, but I guess Taeyeon is the more famous vocal powerhouse in the industry, which is why everyone is always being compared to her.

@@AbcDef-hc2rv She's not tho... Taeyeon is more consistent with head voice, their lows are pretty the same. Their belt, well Eunji is not as pushing as Taeyeon, but it won't make her better vocalist.
