If we connect a temporary battery as show in other videos there is no need to go thru all the computer updating. The Temporary battery is connect in the trunk while replacing the main frunk battery.

That’s what I assumed but as the guy from @wiselyautomotive explains the car needs to told it has a new battery otherwise it over compensates which causes the new battery life to be reduced.
