Preventing a U-Joint failure on Honda Talon

I have 1,100 miles on mine and haven’t had any issues yet. But I’m going to pull it apart tomorrow and check to see what it looks like

So I hit 3400 miles on my Talon. I used the JB weld on my caps. I might have gotten a 1,000 miles and one of my caps came off. (Maybe that one I did not put enough on?) I was 12 miles from camp and made it back. I thought I should put it out there. Thank you on the advise, it might have saved me, so I was able to get back to camp.
