I love your videos. I have been watching them. I finally had a sleep study done and I slept amazingly once they put the mask on. Unfortunately I am waiting for the official test results. They told me I stopped breathing 71 times an hour. I can't wait until I get my machine. Hopefully within the next few weeks. Thanks again for the videos!

I use a nasal mask. I have tried using flannel cut like the white liners you used, which was good, but they don't stay in place. And the flannel began to fray. Think it would be better to add elastic like a sheet for a bed. Or maybe do this with spandex swimsuit material. Right now, I went to the dollar store and bought soft little girls socks, slipped it over the nasal mask and cut a hole in the toe to match the size of the breathing hole. I also cut a small rectangular piece and sewed it to fit the forehead piece. The sock was great at first. The problem I have with this is the hole stretching too much. Now I can feel silicone again. And I still have issues with the bridge of my nose getting irritated. I'm gonna find a solution

Jason I use a Swift FX if I remember right and about a year ago I started cleaning my mask with sensitive skin baby wipes and regular cleaning in the week and it works great and no more irritation.

I have a full face mask similar to the one at the end of the video with silicon tabs at the forehead. The mask size is a medium. I can't go smaller and the large is too big. When I tighten it so there are no leaks I get a small goose egg on my forehead for a few days. I have to wear the mask or I have severe headaches and my epileptic seizures are worse. Suggestions?

If you use the under armor material like a cut out of a upper sleeve or the leggings and pull it over your head like a scarf cut holes where you need the air to pass. (it looks kinda like a ninja mask with the nose and mouth cut out) that material is comfortable and fits snug around your head. Its called a rash guard for good reason. I recomend buying a small size of a ladies leggings and cutting several masks from each leg......And remember to remove it when walking into a bank..lol

I've had severe sleep apnea for years. I've gone through a multitude of mask types. With all of them, I have permanent bruising and highly visible cheek discoloration. It is more pronounced on the left side of my face. I'm currently using a ResMed Swift™ FX for Her because it's so lightweight, but it hasn't helped the problem at all. Any suggestions?

I use a mask that covers the nose. I am getting skin flaking on the outside skin of middle part of the nostrils. And 1-2mm inside the nostrils.

Just wonderful, I've been looking for "do mouthguards work for sleep apnea?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Panvaryor Unexpected Preference - (search on google ) ? It is an awesome one off guide for discovering how to eradicating sleep apnea and snoring without the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate got great results with it.

I didn’t like the remzees because they fall off too easy. I found the silent night liners on amazon and they work great, but a tad pricey.

Hi again Jason! I use the very first mask that you showed here, and I've been on CPAP for about 10 days now. I discovered the irritation and rash today on the upper half of my face. Basically the upper half is red and the other areas are normal :) It seems like I'm already using the less invasive mask (the very first one here that only goes through your nostrils) but I still have such rash. Is there any other recommendation that you can give for those types of masks? Or any skin cream out there for CPAP rash that you could recommend? Thank you in advance!

Jason i use the full face Quatro and I've been fighting a rash on my forehead where the rubber or silicone is against my skin. In the morning after wash my face it almost looks like a burn, but when i put lotion on it relieves the redness and dryness any suggestions? Thanks

I suffer from this as well, but mine will come and go at times. I'll be fine for about 6 months or so, get a rash on my forehead for a few weeks, and be good again for another 6 or so months. This last rash, always contained to the right side of my forehead, is the worse. When I put lotion on the rash looking area, it burns to no end, but does not bother me at other times. I wear a full-face quatro by ResMed.

Another question about my nasal pillows...I wake up feeling like I'm drowning sometimes, and I think I am yelling in my sleep. (I know I've done it at least twice, but for the most part, my husband sleeps through everything, or I'm sleeping by myself so it might happen more and I just don't know it)

Use a large nasal pillow. The opening is probably to small. People don't size these correctly usually. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKmak4aEo9OIeqs

On one forum, a couple of people talked about making their own with old t-shirts, same idea but probably cheaper as you can make several and then wash them. I use a swift fx (I think) and it's never been a problem although I get face marks from where the straps cross my cheeks. Rather annoying but it beats the heck outta not sleeping on a regular basis.

I know people do that kind of thing. The material is tshirt "like", but it is different. Not better or worse, just different. Almost has a cotton ball quality to it. Oh...and as far as I'm concerned, there's only ONE forum! ;^) LOL

+Kelsey Dixon Try aloe vera gel on the inside of your nose. Also, wash your nasal pillows every morning. You can use my product called Mask Bright (sold on Amazon), or you can use hot soapy water (dish soap).
