I took my P10 off last night at 12:30, as the nose pain was really bad. I have a scab on the inside of my nose, despite using vaseline for two nights. I’m taking tonight off from my CPAP to give my nose a break. I’ll go from a medium pillow to the large to see if it helps.

I appreciate your channel. I've watched a lot of your videos. I am new to CPAP; 3-5-24. I have a Resmed air sense 10 with the heated tubing. Will the VCOM be able to be installed between the machine and the tubing being that there is an electrical connection between my machine and the tubing? Looking at the back of my machine I can't figure out if it will work. Thanks.

You even had to put a false tag on the video think that says it all

@@ares657-ni2shThat makes sense…. You claim a false tag was used. It’s two questions asked in the title. How is a question false?!? To simplify even more is very difficult, so hopefully that makes sense.

I got that ring and discovered that when I took a specific medication at night, my o2 levels would drop into the 70’s at night (for as much as an hour total). The CPAP also creates a lower O2 levels at night than without it (when I skip the meds).

I have central apnea and hypo breathing and wrong breathing with short in long out and the like. But you have rained for over 8 minutes without breathing. Could that be true? But most are 1-2 min or less than that. I am 50 years old and had this at least from the age of 15. Probably got a high fever high enough to kill most people. I have an ASV machine and if I turn it on I must breathe at least 15 times in mine and it can breathe for me at 100%. Can't lie down respirator so set on 13 times and then it still often goes on and breathes for me. I always wake up exhausted and generally ill...My life is and has been terribly bad. Accused of being lazy and mischievous and more and not sick. It's hard to describe how bad I felt before the ASV machine. Having said that, I still don't feel well. Just not acutely ill anymore. But longing for death and to escape it all.For 4 years I have had ASV Philips dream blah blah reached. So untreated for about 30 years.Yes, my diagnosis is complex apnea......I have OSCAR and can see I have a leak all the time. 3 in leak to 3-40 I see in OSCAR and there in between then too. I have a leak all the time and can lie for example checking my 15 for 1 hour and peaks at 50 .I'm at the hospital but they do as little as they can and don't have ASV connected to them and they don't know my machine or resmed either.

I am an example of cpap therapy. You are correct about poor follow up. I've A problem with leakage despite having two teams worrking on my sleep apnea. Both teams gave pitiful follow up . they acted like teating OSA and CSA was arrival matter.. I,m presently looking for another team while medical insurance is refusing to pay for another trial with another team.

I have contact dermatitis with/allergy to silicone. I use liners made of old t shirts with a f&p simplus full face mask. I double layer the liners to ensure there is no irritation. And change them every day. It's not pretty but it's effective

I hear experts say APAP pressure changes shouldn't wake me up unless I'm extra-sensitive to the pressure changes. Short of being awake enough to make note of it somehow, how can I tell if I'm "waking up?" My AHI hovers around 1 or less, but I can still suffer crashes before bedtime. I think the drugs I'm taking may be the cause of the sleepiness. I do like the machine, I'm just not sure it's working. I was diagnosed with mild apnea after a morning seizure (I was asleep for the whole event) last Dec 10. The best thing about the machine is it forces me to use my nose. I mouth tape completely. Thanks for the info. Great channel. I wish my pulmonologist gave a shit.

Wellue ring saved my life. A year of miserable health and non-conclusive medical tests of every variety. The ring revealed multiple desaturations to 82% during the night....and also during the day. Gave the results to my doctors and was finally dx with severe desaturations secondary to PFO. Had the closure and got my life back. Highly recommend the O2 ring!

Do people breathe that fast? Looks more like you'd see in a panting dog?

Normally, no. The machine thinks someone is attached when you get it started with a little “bounce”. The way it looks is a great visual of how it feels.

still confused on what someone on low pressure (6.8) and EPR2 is supposed to do if they get aerophagia and also can't handle higher expiratory pressure. If pressure is higher aerophagia is unbearable. Can't exhale without EPR though 🤷🏼♂️
