Apparently, the oiling jets can cause sumping issues when they open too soon, ie before the 13psi. Videos from Kevin Baxter, pro-twin performance, has demonstrated this in several videos. It makes me wonder if all these performance cam chests are contributing to sumping, due to having increased oil flow pressures, and defeating the factory piston oil jet and causing them to fail sooner, which will lead to sumping, and can cause extreme engine damage.

Is there a way to justify whether or not the jets are good or bad without opening up the motor? I assume there isn't any.

That literally happened to my 19 RGS. 1400 miles on it. Scrapped the whole motor

Would a blocked piston jet passage give 10-15psi higher (@ opperation temp) readings on my manual pressure meter ? Got higher pressure readings , 60psi and more above 3k rpm , don't know where tot start

I have m8 Harley motor with this same problem my pistons damaged just like the one you showed in the video . How do I flush out the engine .

What “oil pan” are you suggesting that gets removed on an M8?? LoL
