Is that the case with under 12? I have a 9 year old. In your book, you say that at this age, you can and should set limits and stick to them consistently. Does this mean that we are aren’t going to do the weekly check-in and set boundaries with our children’s involvement until they’re older and in the post contemplation stage?

Please take this as a suggestion, not a hurtful insult : The roller coaster of singing the sentences in the intro, ( instead of just reading normally) the up and down tones actually fries the brains of some adhd listeners.
