@@theangrygamer1008 Sophie Aldred wrote a book called 'At Childhood's End' where the character of Ace meets the 13th Doctor. Probably where they thought Sophie's voice would be well suited for this story.

It's nice that some more new series stories have got the target book treatment! I can't get over Sophie Aldred's pretty good impression of the Thirteenth Doctor and Nicholas Briggs' Ninth Doctor always makes me chuckle :)

The doctor at the start of the movie is the McCoy incarnation, spoilers but after picking up masters remains to take back to Gallifrey and master sabotaging the TARDIS, the McCoy doctor does an emergency landing in 1999 San Francisco and gets shot by a gang then killed mid surgery at hospital before McCoy's doctor regenerated into Mcgann's

The concept here is actually a really nostalgic one, cos these new books/audiobooks are really just a revival of the Target Novels that began in the 1970s, and which were the primary means by which fans could experience most Doctor Who stories. Needless to say, hearing you say you weren't interested in them inflames my ancient sensibilities because Young People Nowadays, etc etc. The Diamond Logo and the Tardis Tuner were from the 1970s too.
