up here in Idaho we hunt miles on steep train to get a few birds if were lucky. these birds sit like fat sage grouse in mt.

Hungarian partridge are not a white meat bird they are a medium dark meat. I would know because I raised thousands of them. I was a breeder for years. One the 14 breeders in the whole country.

You should never shoot 2 birds with one dog always a great chance not to find the second bird,actualy you have 2 dogs to retrieve but the other one its useless. If you wound a partridge its very hard to find it othe wise good video

Not steady to wing and shot because of cripples? A likely excuse. More like it is hard to train your dog to be steady and he doesn't want to put the time in.

great dogs - why not train them up to hold through wing/shot/fall ? ya get better shots with less risk of shooting the dogs
