Tampa's top line of Kucherov, Point, and Guentzel looks fantastic, all while Stamkos and the Preds look horrendous. As a Tampa fan who supported the Guentzel for Stamkos swap, this makes me feel good

Glad Philly only has one more on the road here before they can go home for a little bit. Want to see what happens after they've had a few practices now that we've seen what Jett and Matvei are bringing. Hopefully Seeler is ok and we can get him back in there. I'm fine with how this roadtrip has gone so far. Although I expected Edmonton to drop the score Calgary did on the Flyers and vice versa. Shannon, go take a nap. :-).

REQUEST: Can you please explain how long-term injuries work for teams? For example Drew Doughty's injury; He may not even play until next year, so does he affect this years "pay-cap" because he is on the roster? Basically I'd love a detailed explanation on injuries completely affect a team. Thank you. ... Or if you've already made a video on that I couldn't find it, may I have a link please?

It's called the LTIR - long-term injury reserve. Players can be placed there if the injury will take a long time to bounce back from. Placing a player on LTIR does indeed free up cap space, which allows teams to add free agents to the roster. It can be 'abused' to a degree; see Vegas for the last 2 years lol

Devils really have to learn how to relieve pressure faster, cuz they struggle with pressure and canes showed the blue print on that. Hope they prove to me they can actually handle it and not get bullied in their own zone for once. That should be the #1 thing they work on that when they get a few days off cuz man they are playing so much. Devils vs sens should be a nice physical game really put NJ to the test to see if they can actually hang with physicality.

I like the deserve to win ometer, it is a fun thing and as long as its not like a major part there is no reason to dislike it. You are right as well about the review itself, it works and is welcome when you have plans so you can still enjoy yourself without worrying but if it was how every review was done personally I would just check the nhl site haha.

I like the deserve-to-win-o-meter as well and think it's a good recap of how competitive teams were throughout the game, especially when you can't watch and take notes. I also think it'd be interesting if you include it on the games you watch just to see if you agree with it or not.
