Riley Leonard is ND's X factor on Offense. You have to account for his running ability coupled with Love and Price. He is smart with the ball and understands his role. He can hit all the short throws and ND has enough WR talent to make you pay if you get soft.

Didn’t pff have Oregon’s Oline performance against Ohio State rated higher than Ohio State? So Oregon gave up 8 sacks and had -23 yards rushing, but they rated higher than Ohio State giving up 0 sacks and had 181 yards rushing. So Oregon gave up 8 sacks, 13 TFL and even after removing the yards from sacks, Oregon averaged less than 2 yards a carry. OSU gave up 0 sacks and 3 TFL’s while averaging almost 6 yards a carry and PFF graded Oregon higher than OSU?

The whole of the oline was higher but Oregon had some individual with lower grades than sou and thats wear you see those tfls and quick pressure. (macros harper and ajaini Cornelius). In addition gaberial for most of the night did have a long time to throw which helps the olien grade. He took longer to throw than Howard did.

Those were "poll given" championships back in the day. PSU has never won a natty in the BCS or CFP eras.

Don’t Confuse a calculated Blitz for a recognized set rec by the ND Defense, there’s a huge lack of fundamentals at the QB position in the run game that allowed free defenders in scenarios, no outside contain responsibilities for ND defenders after Handoffs no threat for boot, no runoffs… they essentially had very little impact on understanding the games within the games, which led to no threat for POP’s in RPO’s, no respect for a receivers ability to create seperation due to the lack of effort in runs of not executing run offs as I’ve stated, the games within the games weren’t focused on, and those blitzes were half of the time were just a recognition of power in D n D and understanding no threat for Rollouts or Boots based RB depth, etc and this was a tell… PSU will be smart to learn, and keep the ND Defense Honest with Rollouts to keep eyes on the QB, and for Bootaction… But I doubt they will. ND 20+ to a PSU that struggles to get rhythm…

ND runs an elite NFL scheme and is executing at a high level. They don't need half time to make adjustments. They make them after each drive. Stockton started 6 for 6 and then went dark for a good stretch. ND has elite secondary talent and LB talent. DL is injured but the 2nd string is relentless, getting 4 sacks vs UGA. This is a better defense than OSU. PSU won't score more than 17. I predict 24 to 13 Go Irish!
