Ey! Happy to see mention of some of the unchained characters. That means that its at least canon. That doesnt assure we get those characters back, but its promising at least! (Look, that was one of the things i loved about OMDU, it had that big roster of characters that allowed TONS of replay value, making replaying maps fun.)

Yeah! I fell in love with the characters and along with the weaver of fate system thing ingame being able to spec them for what you think you needed at the time. Plus the different team compositions you could have was great. Im afraid here so far it looks like they are going back to omd2 style of things where like weapons are part of a thing you can pick rather than multiple unique character loadouts which really makes me sad. I hope im wrong though.

Apparently, OMDU isn't considered to be canon as a whole, but Robot reserves the option to use bits and pieces of it as they please. We get a good selection of potential characters to start, though.

Hmm, thats a bit of a shame, but if we get even some of them then that'd still be sick. Zoey is present in the video and she was one of my mains so im happy about that, would love to see Temper come back as he was undoubtedly my most played character. For my co op partner's sake, id also like to see cinder back, as she was probably his most used character. At any rate, im just happy that they arent entirely forgetting OMDU happened, because in my eyes OMDU was undoubtedly the peak of the series (Ill tell you that there is no way id be able to sink 200+ hours into OMD1 or 2 and have it be fun the entire time, as was the case with OMDU).

I'm excited for this but I just wish I could still play Orcs Must Die Unchained on PS4 still. I loved that game with the different heroes, villains, monsters, locations, everything!

At the end of the first game, Maximilian(the guy) closes the rifts and breaks her control over the orcs and she can’t regain it. In the second the rifts open and she escapes through, and she and Max have to team up to fight back the orcs(they will destroy the world on their own, which she doesn’t want) and they grow to be friends and she doesn’t have the same problems with him that she did with the old order.

I Hope Robot Entertainment got a nice chunk of cash from google, I was waiting for this game and had no idea it even released. IGN/Gamingbolt have reviews and talk like its already out, but you google OMD3 and it still says TBC, so confusing. Its not like it was a massive game to start with, and now the fans who want it, have to wait ?? until it comes out on a platform people actually have.

The reason they did that was because they wanted to be apart of the new technology and not have to wait for it to become commonplace so they used one of their safe ip's to be apart of it but not bank solely on it it's actually a smart tactic

Max was clearly Cygnus's greatest success. Look at how successful of a Warmage Max turned out to be - clearly it's all due to Cygnus's hastening of Max's training. All part of the plan - or so Cygnus tells us.

I love your game. But google Stadia makes it inedible. With 70MB / s I play the game on my computer, but it looks pixelated due to the extremely low video bit rate and you can see artifacts everywhere when moving. The graphics are just crappy with Stadia. PLS drop it on Steam or Epic

The website (robotentertainment.com/omd3_faq) says that Orcs Must Die Unchained isn't canon, but then there's 2:48 of this video. Weird. Maybe they just mean the overall story isn't but the characters still are. Or they just don't really care either way and it doesn't matter either way considering how briefly it's shown in this video.
