Same it’s in my top 10. I like how it’s almost 2 separate arcs, Ulong’s fall where you barely see Koror, and then halfway you get to watch Koror who was practically vacationing for half the game finally have to turn on eachother. It was super interesting

Ian lost his chance to win A MILLION DOLLARS because _Katie_didn’t_get_to_go_on_a_car_ride,_and_it_made_her_sad._ More than a month of hard work, starvation, cold nights, typhoons, getting banged up, making his way to the final 3, and also TWELVE HOURS OF HANGING ON A BUOY gone just like that. Why? Because Katie complained about not getting picked for a car ride. And for what? So Katie would say she wasn’t sad anymore? So they could call each other “friends” for the next few weeks, as they slowly drifted apart? 🤦‍♂️ Ian had a legit chance of winning the whole thing. He was very likeable, friends with everyone, and he actually won several challenges. Tom would have picked Ian. He saw Ian as a worthy competitor. They also had that gentlemen’s agreement. The only reason he had to go with Katie was because Ian told him to.

Ian could have lost the buoy challenge, gotten to the final 2, given his statement to the jury, won over Katie. Then, in the live show Ian could emphasize how bad he felt about that car ride reward, apologize again, make it up to Katie, and THEY’D STILL BE FRIENDS FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, SLOWLY DRIFTING APART.

Take your head outta your...... Katie was the one who dragged Ian to the final 3. Even though it was clearly obvious he didnt want to be there, was throwing challenges so that Tom would win, and would obviously Take Tom to the Final 2 over her... so one cannot say that she dragged Ian to the final 3 out of her own self-interest. It was TOM who lectured and gaslit Ian about being honorable, and "DUKING IT OUT LIKE MEN, at the final 3!!!" Then Tom voted for Ian TWICE at final 4. Which should have been predictable to ANYONE that he was going to do that. He had no intention of 'saving' or going to the final 3 with Ian, and was counting on Katie to vote the same. Katie forced a tie twice and saved Ian. And the only person who saw through TOM was COLBY. So there is THAT to think about.

They should have thought of redemption island for this season. This tribe selection mechanism would have been good for survivor Fiji with odd cast. There was 19 people, last 2 would go to redemption island and would fight to get back in the game.

Angie has such an amazing game and was so close to being in the final 2 with Stephanie. I really want Angie to come back but I remember hearing that she wasn't a fan of being monitored and wasn't very fond of the entire idea of coming back. Nonetheless, Angie is my favorite Survivor of all time.

This was after his [gaslighting] lecture about being honorable and going to the finale 3 and "Duking it out, like MEN!!!" speech to Ian. Colby was the ONLY jury that saw through him. I guess I cant say how much the Jury saw of that interaction, probably none. But after the "duking it out like men" speech, then voting for Ian twice, I could have never voted for Tom.

It wasnt caryn, it was another girl. But yes, I agree. She should have voted Ian. But atleast nobody could claim that she drug Ian to the final 3 out of her own self-interest. Also, Tom lectured Ian about "duking it out like men" as the honorable thing at finale 3 --- then immediately proceeded to try and vote him out at final 4 --- having no intentions of 'saving him' or carrying him to final 3. Yet he still got the Hero's Farewell.

Just finished this season and hated it. The weakest most pathetic cast overall. They literally handed Tom a million dollars. Boring and stupid.

Agreed. Same with JT's win. Boring boring boring. But the Fact that Tom gaslit Ian so hard about 'duking it out like men' at the finale 3, and then tried to vote him out twice at final 4, should have been highlighted. Tom was counting on Katie to vote the same; but Katie saved him, and not out of her own self-interest, she got horrible treatment for it, and Tom still got the hero's farewell at her expense. And Colby was the only one who saw through him And Caryn is dumb. If this season is decent in anyway. It exemplifies the psychological vulnerabilities of those who fail to divorce their emotions from the game. And how easy it is to fool an audience of multiple millions of people into believing a 'Feel Good Story' about 'unbreakable friendship'... mixed in with scenes of military-level gaslighting of some poor 22yr old sucker.
