A lot of these coaches are pristine in appearance. The mechanical issues are what will kill you financially. I follow several sites and they all tend to gloss over the engine/transmission and focus on amenities. The 8V92 Detroit is an expensive motor to fix and maintain.
@therealjayseh8 ай бұрын

It would be a great poolside Casita or guest house for many homes backyards!!!. I've been in numerous buses in my life, some of them smell like booze, drugs, pets, vomit residue, and urine. I think a lot of these party buses have been used for chauffeurs services for parties. I see a lot of these luxury Party buses passing between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and you can just tell they're just giant party buses. Also, some of the windows on these party buses, are used for mooning other cars, during bumper to bumper traffic across the desert freeways, during peak traffic holiday weekends. Know guns/hoses ( police-firemen groups) are prime mooners when they gather for parties on the Colorado Rivers.

The bus with nothing inside was probably around $300,000 to $400,000. The engine and transmission alone were over 50,000. These were built to transport people and luggage all day 24/7/365 for 10 years plus without major failure. The wheels and tires were probably 10-20,000 alone. A yellow school bus with a rear engine diesel and rear AC was 100,000 back then. Comparing this to a school bus is like comparing a gocart to a Corvette.

People comment about how the interior is like its stuck in the 70/80's. The coach is selling for $99,000, are people thinking it should be all redecorated for the price it is selling for? It runs and as for the interior, you can update it little by little. Why spend a couple of million on a new Marathon coach and have to wait at least 4/6 months before you get it.
