I used to love watching the Prevue Channel in the 90s! There was something so neat about watching the previews, and watching the listings change. I remember waiting to see what was coming on premium channels, like HBO, Cartoon Network (yup! Once that was a premium channel!), Disney (this one too!), and Pay Per View, and then tried to “watch these channels through the scrambled squiggles on the channel! I did that for Cartoon Network ALL THE TIME!

On the one hand it's completely understandable why there isn't a dedicated EPG channel. Pretty much everyone has an integrated interactive guide and internet access, if they even still watch TV, but the loss of Prevue has certainly left a hole.

Our Cinemax Channel was on 14 on Cox Cable of Omaha it must have been the go to channel for Cinemax in the 1990s

One cable system that was in Columbus, Ohio had Cinemax on channel 5.

Too bad Prevue Channel/TV Guide Network doesn't exist any longer. Blame the fact that modern TVs have their own version of a channel guide. Yes, the same is true for set-top boxes.

These are charlotte nc channel order. I remember late night I used to watch hot channel 96 it would sometimes come in clear 😆 and you didn't have to pay
