For those who don't understand Basically you played as a dreaming phantom with Morgan Yu's reconstructed memories (however what really happened is unknown as you made your own decisions BASED off his memories) You then get judged by Alex (regardless of whether or not you killed him because again, what you played wasn't the exact thing that happened to the real Morgan Yu) and the dead crew members ofTalos 1 (they are like January, hence why they are operators) to see whether or not you have the capacity to feel/empathize with living things because apparently the true reality is that the Typhon have already taken over earth and you are the apparent solution as a bridge between species Hope this helps!

Achallon so the phantom isn't Morgan...so Morgan died on the ship. I thought that Morgans body was fused together with the Typhon, but he lost his memory about what happened on the ship...so basically what you played is the truth...except the end...or did Alex do all...what means you...Morgan never were on the ship in a simulation...instead died in the beginning? It could be like...Morgan did what you did...but they searched for you, since your body doesn't looks like Morgan anymore because you are more thypon than human...

I think that morgan actually fucked things up. Maybe he came back to earth and caused its destruction. Then the scientists captured an alien and implanted a "human neuromod" in it. The simulation is based on what happened to Morgan, but the choices you make are different. The simulation is simply a test to figure out if the neuro-modified alien has a good sense of morality or not.

@@jankfloyd158 I think it would have been even better to discover there was never a Morgan Yu and that it was pure simulation. In terms of 'real Morgan', I believe why Alex refers to the phantom as a friend is because they have fused what exists of the old Morgan into it. Just as neuromods are instilling Typhon parts into humans, so to has this Typhon gained human components, which are quite possibly from Morgan.

Rlly interesting All this time I've been injecting Typhon based neuromods into myself while the typhon reliving the memories has human based neuromods

Finally, someone who does something in between the "save everyone" and "kill everyone". In my third playthrough, I actually let more people die, including letting the oxygen run out in the cargo bay. However, I did not install a single Typhon Neuromod. In fact, I didn't install any Neuromods at all. It was an achievement completion run, with two goals: Kill all important characters (except Danielle, who never gets on the shuttle) yet keep Dahl alive, and not install Neuromods at all. My empathy coefficient was, to my surprise, "quite high", even though my only boons were finding Danielle, not installing Typhon Neuromods and connecting Igwe to the cargo bay. Even though it was for the sake of knocking Dahl unconscious, and I still killed Igwe afterwards, it still counted.

I did the nullwave ending because I wanted to save the people in the station. When I saw what Alex did to the city, I killed him lol.

Cherry Pauper he didnt do that to the city. The earth gets contaminated anyway via any ending. Spaceship explodes, fragments will eventually hit earth. Typhon gets shredded by the nullwave? Shreds make it to earth.

That part really should have been changed with your decision to scuttle the ship that was about to land on Earth. Let it land: Earth destroyed Destroy the shuttle: Earth saved It could also have variants due to other decisions as well, but should have at least been a possibility

i got 100% and i really took my time with this game, i love it and its totally worth it. Only 2 things i did not complete was the IT closet and that board game thingy. The one thing i dont get was i got a message voice note from M Yu to M Yu stating the robot that was supposed to be me was called October and October was never seen or heard of again in the game, but there was the other one that claimed to be me called January and of course the fake one called December, thought it was worth mentioning. but yeah great game and the ending basically explains what they wanted to see and why. GET THE GAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol im still stoked and just made it trough

Quite a much. It helped me to get into some places without the needed code or pass. Needs some practice, though. But I used it on terminals to open security posts or to open locks through the windows.

Used it at the Morgue to open the locked door, shooting a bolt through the windows.

I used it one time only, to get into the security cage in the power plant. I found a hole i couldn't fit through (and no small objects to change into) but I figured out I could lean into the hole and shoot the button to open the door

Yeah i just finished the game today, the last 6 or so hours felt rushed and a little cheap. Aslo some of the quests were pretty lame, like if you go to kill volunteer 37 he just kills himself and that's that...

the game deserved a better ending ... the ending was to short and not realy much to see... it would have been better, if this was the last level and you kill humanity ore save humanity ... its to open ended (prey 2?!) and even they wanted an open end to make a second part of this game there would have been a better way :( the game story was better than the ending thats my oppinion.
