3 best parts of dead end hip hop 1) Myke going in on a horrible album after Feefo gives it a pass 2) Beezy getting hyped and turning into an excited kid when they review a good album 3) Myke getting at Ken for making 0 sense when trying to make a point keep up the good work guys. When the guys were talking about premiere not making "premiere style beats" I feared that he entered the turn up, frenetic trap rap era. The beats may not be premo, but thankfully they still have the soulful, scratchy, sample sound that I like. Premo and Nas! Make it happen already!

black thought on the remix of wishin
@darrylmiller96437 жыл бұрын
With all due respect, I wonder how much people have really listened to Premier. The beat switch on "Wishin" is something Premo has done many times. "Speak Ya Clout" is an example where he changes the beat for Lil' Dap, and Jeru. That is on a Gang Starr project. People need to listen to his work with Christina Aguilara and D'angelo.

I thought that Haiti line was fire! There are a bunch of charity organization that take most of the raised money and keep it. Towards Myke's point about Mac's Haiti line, Haiti has millions of dollars in foreign aid that is never actually used because donors withhold or reprogram the funds when Haiti fails to meet certain requirements so somebody could easily buy a Mercedes with the money that is raised for Haiti but never used. I'm not sure if Mac put that much thought into the line (it's doubtful though) or was just trying to sound ruthless or whatever but I have to agree with C-Town that the line came out sounding stupid.

Royce is a lyricists lyricist , he can flip styles and flow patterns without the casual listener evening noticing and he makes it sound so effortless, like it's as easy as breathing. And Preemo brings the best out of him, as he always does. I agree calling Royce New school was wrong , he's been collabing with preemo since the turn of the century and flowing even longer. This albums a Classic. One of the best of last year. Up there with Pinata. Blasphemy, P.T.A.D. and both Ghostface projects. It was a good year in Hip. Hop.

Myke: I do think mac was trying to b edgier cause of the lines following the Haiti line..."Abducted Brenda's baby,sold it to a gay couple"...Soon as I heard it I figured he was jus trying to talk slick,but I can understand y you may not have got it at 1st. Still not a fan of his but I agree with u guys he didn't disappoint me this time around,plus he rode the beat/sample nice. Royce said the feats were on purpose cause he rarely does those,plus he wanted to bridge the gap with the new age spitters over premo beats. Im glad Royce convince preem to do it,and hope they continue PRhyme the way RTJ are... Great Review from you guys
