This put so many floating and contradicting thoughts about stop loss in perspective besides understanding a structure forming. If you can clarify that when you say 345 as your stop, do you mean a day candle closing below it? Or whenever the price is going down around or below 345 with volume use that as stop and perhaps re enter if that is eventually forming a wick.... as if one waits for the day candle close or if there is a gap down.. then the actual point where one square offs position could Be much lower/ anything.

Thanks so much When I set a Stop at 'x' level, I dont wait for Closing to happen below that level. Even if the SL level is violated by a tick, I simply go ahead and exit positions. If volumes are very low, then I might wait for close below SL. But if volumes are average or above average, I simply exit as SL is hit.
