Mechanical isn't dead yet BTW. When Cues road groups come online then that will be mechanical but until then Tiagra, Sora and Claris are still there for the other 90% of cyclists in the world. Electronic is still out of reach for most and that's just a fact.

This video is riddled with factual errors. DuraAce brake calipers are not four piston. DuraAce cranks are not carbon. Shimano will release a 12-speed mechanical groupset. Do some research before making your videos.

Almost all the weight difference is in the chainsets and cassette. Just buy 105 with a DA cassette and chain, with SRAM Red crankset.

The difference in the weights of the 105 and Ultegra 12-speed 11-34 cassettes is only 16g.

105 Di2 is superior to Ultegra and DA because it doesn't violently throw the chain inwards and into the BB area. You *have* to run a chain catcher with DA / Ultegra. The FD is the old 11s Ultegra Di2 model with different firmware.
