Well Golden Retrievers can survive on vegetarian food but it is definitely not recommend since they need that non vegetarian nutrients to be healthy which they can only get from dog food. It depends totally on what kind of human food you're feeding to your dog and of course, the age of the dog matters the most because there is a certain age for introducing human food to your dog. According to me, human food should only be introduced once your dog is 7-8 months old because at their early ages they need the most nutrients which they only get from dog foods and In human food, you can provide Rice and Curd, Banana, Carrot, Tomato, Cucumber, Apple, and many more vegetables and fruits but make sure to provide it without any Salt, Sugar, and Seeds since they are all toxic to dogs. Yes if there is breeder which is selling you a dog without any certification or documents than its probably a backyard breeder and a dog must be kci registered otherwise the chances are its bred in a puppy mill which you should definitely avoid because you don't want an unhealthy and aggressive puppy, also you would promoting the work of puppy mills as well. I doubt getting a golden retriever at such a low price because raising a golden retriever upto 8 weeks would cost more than this for a breeder. Either this puppy would be the last of the litter or unfortunately the puppy you bought is niether pure bred and neither kci registered. I hoping you have all the documents regarding your dog, its litter, its dog parents, the breeder, where the puppy was raised and many more things! The less sugar you give the better, because sugar is toxic for dogs and too much sugar in food and treats could lead to many serious problems and diseases that you wanna avoid. I would definitely say 'No' since they are very energetic and they should be socialized and trained in such a good manner which first time owners cannot do and being a first time owners, we probably don't know what to do and how to do and if rottweiler is not trained well, he can be very aggressive in the future years!
