Прекрасный обзор маленького,дворового магазинчика.Сколько этих магазинов на душу населения,создается впечатление,что нет конкуренции вообще,каждый ход т туда,где его любимый продукт.

The prices aren't that much different on the majority of items. Keep in mind that the average increase in grocery prices in the US seems to be between 30-50% (in some cases, double) over the past 2 years.

USA official consumer price inflation nothing like 50% in 2 yrs -although certain things have spiked in price disproportionately. In UK we have a similar measure RPI which went to 17.5% in March last year but back down to single digits now. but tends to underestimate real world costs. Whilst most of the prices seem around what it costs in UK, big difference is average income..

@@CROSSofIRON-uk The "official" US inflation rate is absurdly claimed at 3.1% for the past year and 3.4% for the previous. A single trip to the grocery store will tell you otherwise. Most items have gone up the rates previously stated while other items have gone into "shrinkflation" where the prices have remained the same yet the product size has decreased by a third or more.

Three types of inflation: 'official' inflation in the whole country economy is one measure, food inflation another different measure and finally real inflation when looking at individual items. The numbers can be misleading even when correct.

But.... ur income is just 700 roubles... so it is expensive these products.. like bananas or german Milka chocolatbars...

700 roubles?? The Average salary in Russia is about 40-50.000 roubles (450-500$) per month (60-70.000- official)... This should be enough for such products, since life in Russia is not expensive... It's strange to me, didn't he have an LMA in the USA, which he could rent out.... That's $600-1000 - a good salary in Russia. You can find a simple, non-boring job and you can live comfortably.

Prices even higher than in North of England (Wigan)

Really?
@ramzbew567410 ай бұрын
@YegorsTV yep. You can open websites of some british supermarkets, for example Tesco and compare prices there. I did it like a week ago. Most of food costs less than in Moscow especially vegetables but even meat - pork and beef steaks are much cheaper, chicken a bit more expensive eggs more expensive. Also keep in mind that british food standarts are much higher than Ruzzo-Soviet GOSTs. But there are even cheaper supermarkets like Aldi. Also minimum wage in UK is about 1400 pounds(1800 $) for an adult 25 old )) which is about 160 000 rubles as for now.

@@ramzbew5674 how much is rent and cell service?
@ramzbew567410 ай бұрын
@TV I was paying 280 pounds to landlord, 100 pounds council tax (it is quite high but the property was in city center, usually it is about 50-70 depends what property price in your area. Also I paid about 60 pounds for gas in winter and almost 0 gas in summer and about 20 for electricity. So all costs for proverty was about 420-460 pounds. And it was a flat with your own bathroom, kitchen. But it was a little studio. Tbh I was quite lucky to rent this. This property was found fro me by my english friend. Usually rent in that area 450-600 pounds for 1 bedroom flat. As for cell cervice it is now about 25 punds or 3000 rubbles with unlimited minutes and data. But there are plans for just 10-15 pounds if you dont use much data.
