This is not how lCT (the author) teaches Orderblocks. They are a single candle unless there is a FVG parallel to the OB that engulfs more than one base candle. Also if the candle sequence is broken by an opposing candle (like an upclose candle in a series of downclose candles) you dont count the others. I think you are basically drawing Supply & Demand zones.🤨

I think these concepts are all the same things called many different ways. I am not an ICT student so can't say word for word how he teaches it, but in general this was how I had learned the concept simplified from people that had followed him, and also combined with supply/demand and gap concepts.
